A court development leads to a new independent review assignment

In April 2025 a court issued an important opinion in a long-running cross-border matter involving a Luxembourg structure. The decision created a need to organise a large body of historical documents and to examine the financial consequences of the events in a clear and independent way.

We began developing an approach combining documentary review, agreed-upon procedures and financial analysis. The objective was not to repeat the legal arguments, but to establish the relevant facts, test the available information and prepare a defensible basis for quantifying potential loss.

We are sharing this event because it marked a further development of our independent review work — from conventional financial and compliance checks towards complex assignments involving litigation, valuation and damages analysis.
